The patented Alpha Sheath Shield™ is designed to help protect your horse’s sheath from irritating flies while supporting the healing process of summer sores and other fly-related skin irritations.

Flies are a leading contributor to summer sores. Certain flies can carry Habronema larvae, which may be deposited onto wounds, sensitive skin, and areas such as the sheath. These larvae can trigger inflammation, irritation, and slow healing. Effective fly management and protection are key components in helping prevent continued irritation and supporting recovery.

The Alpha Sheath Shield™ features a durable UV-resistant mesh bag that helps block up to 90% of harmful UV rays while allowing cool air to circulate. The breathable mesh design also allows your horse to urinate naturally while maintaining protection from flies.

For added comfort, the top of the bag and back straps are lined with soft Sherpa fleece padding to help reduce rubbing and irritation during wear. The fleece-lined straps provide extra cushioning while the adjustable strap system allows for a secure, comfortable fit.
