"This shield is so amazing! It goes on easily and didn't bother the horse at all. I bought this for my friend 's horse and I really think he knew we were trying to help him. We were praying he would keep it on. His sheath was bloody and oozing. The flies just wouldn't leave it alone and he couldn't leave the flies alone. He either kicked at them or tried to bite them on his sheath. It never healed no matter what we put on it, including lots of fly spray on top of everything. The vet came to treat him and we put the shield on. She even took a picture and said it was the best one she had ever seen. We left it on 2 days (I know it's supposed to come off every day and be cleaned) before we took it off for the first time. It was almost healed. Not only do I recommend it but it is the only way to go. Thank you!"

"I ordered an Alpha Shield when my 32 year old Warmblood gelding had summer sores this past July, here in New Jersey. He was miserably itchy and annoyed by the flies. The Alpha Shield arrived quickly and was of excellent quality. The draft size fit him well and the product was easy to maintain. Within a few days of the flies not having access to his sheath, the sores closed up enough that he no longer needed to wear the shied. I highly recommend this product."

"I wanted to congratulate you on a great product. Our horse, Higgins; contracted what had to be the "mother of all summer sores," due mainly to a mis-diagnosis by our vet. By the time his condition was correctly identified, the poor fellow's sheath was a mass of open wounds. We have successfully treated him with daily applications of invectrin creame; and have used the sheath every day also. The sheath completely protected him from other fly infections during the long period that he had open wounds. He exhibited no issues with wearing the sheath. In fact, I think he understood that the sheath was keeping the flys off of him. Great product, would recommend it to anyone whose horse has the misfortune to get this really bad condition of a summer sore."
